What is MoCACT?
MoCA\CT is a museum and cultural arts hub dedicated to presenting thought-provoking contemporary art exhibitions and enriching the community through music, education, and special events.
Where is MoCACT located?
We are located at 19 Newtown Turnpike, Westport, Connecticut.
What are your hours of operation?
MoCA\CT is open Thursdays through Sundays at the times listed below.
Thursdays 12pm–8pm
Fridays 12pm – 5pm
Saturday 10am – 5pm
Sunday 12pm – 5pm

The Museum is closed on New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving Day.

Is there an admission fee?
Tickets to enter an exhibition are $10; screenings, panel discussions, and performing arts prices vary, depending on the event. Students and seniors enjoy a discounted entry fee ($8) and Members are free.
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

You may purchase admission tickets on our website, or in-person at the front desk when you arrive.

Is the Museum accessible for visitors using wheelchairs, mobility devices, or strollers?
Yes. The Museum features ramp access at the main entrance and into the galleries, and all galleries are located on a single level for step-free circulation. Accessible restrooms are available, and visitors using wheelchairs, mobility devices, or strollers can enjoy barrier-free access throughout the exhibition spaces.
Can I take photos inside the museum?
Non-flash photography for personal use is welcome unless otherwise noted. Photography for commercial purposes requires prior approval.
Does MoCA CT host events or private rentals?

Yes! MoCA\CT offers its galleries and outdoor spaces for private events, including corporate gatherings, weddings, and community functions. Learn more on our Event Rentals page.

What programs do you offer for youth and teens?

We host a variety of programs, including our Teen Council, art classes, workshops, and volunteer + internship opportunities. These programs are designed to empower young voices and connect students with contemporary art. See more on our Teen Council page.

Is there parking available?

Yes. Free parking is available on-site for all visitors.

Do you have a Museum shop or café?
Yes, we have a small Museum shop with gifts for purchase. We also have tables and chairs in our lobby. You are invited to bring a snack or meal and enjoy it as part of your time at the Museum.
Do you participate in reciprocal admission or discount programs with other museums?
Yes.
